Mike Huckabee and The Learning Channel (TLC)
Wow! Is it time for a new blog already? Time sure flies when you're
working hard!
So I hope you have all been well since my last blog, but I have a couple
of very
cool stories this time around.
Since we last met in cyberspace I had the opportunity to be on the
Mike Huckabee show. He came into Vegas to tape a couple of shows and
asked me to be a guest.
What a thrill it was! I got to be at the round table and discuss
current events, and, of course, a couple of my puppets made the
appearance with me. They are upset that I'm not going to promote them in
this blog, but I made an executive decision to let you all wait until
it airs this next Saturday to find out which ones joined me.
Air Date - July 24 at 8pm EST - Fox News
My brother Jep had his 46th birthday this year. Last year around his
birthday his entire life changed when he was asked if he would quit his
job and join the Fator Tot team as President of my organization. After much soul-searching he agreed and has been head of my companies
ever since.
I can't tell you what an amazing job he has done, and the sense of
security he has given me is incalculable. It's so nice to have someone
looking out for you that you can trust implicitly and you know has your
best interest at heart. Anyone who knows Jep knows I am right about
this!
Anyway, I figured for his birthday this year I wanted to shoot the works
and make it spectacular.
My PR company told me that the TLC TV show "Fabulous Cakes" was in Vegas
taping so I teamed up with them to create the coolest cake ever!
I wanted something that had all of my main ventriloquism characters on
it, but with Jep on it as well.
Jep is different from me in me in many ways. I am very much the indoor
type (video games and movies), while Jep is exactly opposite. He loves
the outdoors (hunting, fishing, camping, etc). So I asked Freeds Bakery
in Las Vegas if they could make Jep's little cakey avatar hold a fishing
pole. They could and did. We had an amazing birthday party for Jep, and
you can be part of the fun next Monday on TLC!

Terry, Mark and his cast of thousands - 2010-08-24
Hello All!...First time blogging, but I gotta tell you about the sensational time I had with Terry. On Thursday, August 12 2010 I was in the 3rd row of the audience with my family (we were celelbrating my mom's 85 birthday) and I was chosen to appear on stage with him. WOW, what a blast! How many people can say they appeared on stage with Terry Fator, in the number one headling act in Las Vegas?, not many but I can. (Im sure Cher would have a much different opinion of how great I was that I do!) I just want to say THANK-YOU Terry. You made my mom's birthday and our trip to Las Vegas the best trip ever. God bless you for who you are, what you do and for all your support for the troops over seas. Sincerely, Mark Teel Vancouver, BC Canada PS Please tell your band, they are FANTASTIC!

What a special evening of GREAT ENTERTAINMENT...I am still smiling! |

A fan from Hong Kong - 2010-08-20
I accidentally watched the show "America's Got Talent" and fortunately had a chance to know you and be a fan of you. I really wonder if you get surprised to know that you have a Hong Kong people as your fan@@ I really want to go to your live show in Las Vegas, but it seems to be a diificult task for me =[ By the way, I'm really interested in ventriloquism and want to try if I'm capable of it. I should have bought a book and started practising but I have no idea which book I should buy. I know you have become a busy guy =] But I still want to ask for your recommendation. Hope that I didn't bother you =P

I Salute You - 2010-07-27
Myself and wife attended your show on 7/20/10 and was amazed when you recognized all the vets and that the profits from the store goes to the soldires serving. This really touched my heart since I served 21 years in the Army, now a retired disabled vet. My wife cried during your song to us vets and having served, I know and understand what you are doing means to a brother in arms away from home!!! For this, your song, and your words, I salute you and ask that you never forget us. Wanted to tell you in person, but could not with you that evening. Also myself and wife loved your show, and admire who you are and what you stand for!!!

Too bad. - 2010-07-26
I have always been a fan since you won America's Got Talent. You deserved it; your talen is fabulous. I am so sorry you have found it necessary to include off color humor in your performances. You are too good for that and you don't need it to draw people to your performance. I was just in Las Vegas and a number of us stayed away. I still admire your talent.

Your Bobble Head - 2010-07-21
C U tonite at the 51s to pick up my Terry Fator bobble head. It will sit on my deck next to my "Winston", DVD & your book back in Wisconsin. Your were/are the breath of fresh air in the industry so many of us have waited for. Best to you and yours...Phyllis

Hey Terry, Lonnie from Texas - 2010-07-15
I have followed your career and your wonderful success. I am so proud of you. Having Ankylosing Spondylitis has given me an appreciation of your sister's condition and it is just a part of life I have learned to cope with. I hope to see you live someday, but disability pay doesn't allow much in the way of travel and privileges. I wish you well, Terry.

Cake?! Sounds perfect. Mr. Fator, you've been my dad's favorite entertainer, and he was so proud of his DVD of your Las Vegas show; he showed it to all his guests. Many times. Many.times. ;) I want to thank you for bringing him such joy. We lost him two months ago. My sister and I follow you on facebook, in tribute to him (although we kinda like you, too), and his favorite song, your version of What a Wonderful World, will forever be special. Thank you. Please keep doing what you're doing; you've got such amazing talent, and you bring happiness to so many. Sincerely, Janna
