That's how many days are left.  Unbelievable!  One year at The Mirage.
  How did it go by so quickly?   246 shows in the blink of an eye!  I
guess when you're fulfilling a dream and working with people you love,
it does shoot by like that.  We're all on pins and needles because
today is the day we receive the new puppet we've been making such a
big deal out of for the last few months.  I normally like to spend
more time with them so we can get to know each other.  (I know that
sounds strange, but every new "friend" I've ever added to my show I
pick up and look at for a little while and somehow they decide for
themselves what their name will be and what their speaking voice will
sound like.....It's true!  But if the Loony Bin ever comes to ask me
about it; I will deny EVERYTHING!)  We have been rehearsing hard for
three weeks to get the jokes and songs just perfect.  I still can't
tell you what the new puppet is, but I will tell you this:  Walter has
been the stand-in for rehearsals.  Which is hilarious, because the
things coming out of his mouth are like nothing he would ever actually
say.  Trust me----it's gonna be good!

I hope you can be there to see it yourselves, but if you miss the One
Year Anniversary Show this Saturday, I promise to fill you in on how
it went.  We are expecting lots of V.I.P.s  to attend and a few
"surprise appearances" during the show from some of the other stars in
town (ANOTHER big secret....I feel like I'm in the CIA all of a
sudden) and my whole band and I are going to B.B. King's Blues Club
here at The Mirage for a special jam session after my show.

Oh yeah.....And cupcakes for everybody with Walter and Vikki and
Duggie on top.  (Not literally---you know what I mean.)  See you
Saturday!
